What Sydney Learned: Fitness

I don't broadcast the fitness portion of my life on my blog mostly because I haven't had much to write about, or so I thought.

1. Don't Stress the Numbers

Whether it's on the scale or the weights you're lifting do not stress over the little things. Muscle will always weight more than fat and the weights you start off with will definitely become your warm up weight with consistency and motivation. Just keep going I promise it all gets better.

2. Worry About You

It's fitness and the main purpose of fitness is to benefit YOU. This is one of the many things in life that can solely focus on you. Whether you're in physique or power, beating your own numbers should be your only concern! For the longest time when I began my gym going career I was worried about how looked or what I was lifting in comparison to others, but honestly as long as you are improving and you feel like you're doing work then that is all that matters when it comes to fitness.

3. Not Everyday is Great

You're not going to be motivated 100% of the time. Sometimes you're not going to be able to lift the easy weight you were lifting last week. You're not going to be 100% all day every day. Life happens. School happens. Work happens. SHIT HAPPENS. And it's okay. As long as you keep going and start every day like it's a new one, you're going to get through this and you're going to progress.
